TAG Farnborough Airport Airspace Change Proposal – update

A one-day pilot workshop took place at TAG Farnborough Airport on 4 December 2012 and was attended by a cross section of pilots who use the airport regularly. The workshop sessions helped gather further information, requirements and capabilities that will assist in developing detailed airspace design options.
Planned activities: January 2013
An initial meeting is planned with key aviation stakeholder NetJets (date TBC). Once carried out, all key aviation stakeholders will have been informed of the proposed changes at TAG Farnborough Airport and been given an opportunity to outline their initial requirements.
A meeting is planned with the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA’s) Directorate of Airspace Policy (DAP) (date TBC) to provide an update on the progress of the ACP and what the early design options may look like. This represents part of a continued process of engagement.
NATS, TAG Farnborough Airport’s provider of air traffic services, has organised an internal air traffic control (ATC) technical workshop at NATS Swanwick centre on 16 January 2013 to progress design and procedure options.
