TAG Farnborough Airport Airspace Change Proposal

Recent activities

Work has continued to establish a dedicated Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) page on the TAG Farnborough Airport website, where stakeholders will have an opportunity to give their feedback on the proposed design. Technical development of the website is being undertaken.

Further real time development simulations took place at the NATS Corporate and Technical Centre. These simulations tested how Farnborough air traffic interacts with Southampton Airport.

Advice from Safety and Airspace Regulation Group (SARG) regarding new European regulatory rules taken into account. Consultation to be delayed by approximately one month.

Planned activities: November 2013

Meeting with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to discuss progress on ACP.

Finalising proposed design to be taken into consultation.

Consultation website continues to be developed and tested.
