April 17, 2025

Farnborough Airport, the Birthplace of British Aviation and Europe’s leading airport for premium air travel connectivity, has today announced that it has been voted as Europe’s number one FBO (Fixed Base Operator) in the 2025 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey, marking an outstanding 18 years in the top spot.

Simon Geere, CEO of Farnborough Airport, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating: “Being acknowledged in the Professional Pilot PRASE Survey for 18 years is a tremendous honour for Farnborough Airport. Our relentless pursuit of excellence is at the core of everything we do, and this consistent recognition reaffirms our unwavering commitment to our customers.

Farnborough Airport scored 9.63 in the Professional Pilot PRASE Survey, an annual ranking based on customer feedback regarding aviation ground services. This accolade is determined by the discerning insights of senior aviation professionals, including executives in charge of flight departments, aviation managers, chief pilots, and CEOs, who contribute their evaluations each year to Professional Pilot magazine.

The news follows Farnborough Airport’s recent announcement that it has retained its number one position in the 2025 Aviation International News (AIN) FBO Survey, securing its status as the leading FBO across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific for the 19th consecutive year.

Simon Geere reaffirmed the Airport’s commitment to maintaining its industry-leading standards, commenting: “The entire team at Farnborough Airport is deeply appreciative of this ongoing recognition and the trust placed in us by our customers. As we continue to innovate and invest in our facilities, we remain dedicated to setting new benchmarks for service, customer care, and operational excellence. This recognition as Europe’s number one FBO reflects the dedication of our staff and we extend our appreciation to all those who participated in the survey.

Farnborough Airport’s ranking in both the 2025 Professional Pilot PRASE Survey and the recent 2025 AIN International FBO Survey reinforces its position as one of the highest-performing FBOs globally and reflects its long-standing commitment to excellence and upholding its reputation as Europe’s premier business aviation hub.
